Gym presence for mutual friends, streak squads, and barcode lookup via Open Food Facts
This release added three things:
- Gym presence: get a real-time notification when a mutual friend checks into the gym.
- Streak squads: groups of six can now share a single streak.
- Turkish barcode database: barcode scans now run against a database specific to Turkey and return a result in about 2.4 seconds on average.
Correction — August 4, 2026. The two items above were inaccurate. Barcode scanning uses Open Food Facts data; there is no Turkey-specific database, and scan time hasn’t been measured yet. Squads don’t have a six-person member cap or a shared streak calculation — each member’s own streak is shown. Corrected after an internal audit.
Cookrange is currently at v0.9.6, internal alpha (TestFlight and Play beta). This page is the starting point for public changelog tracking — earlier internal builds were not retroactively logged.
