Who it's for

Gyms

For gyms that want check-in and peak-hour visibility without accessing members' body data

Does this sound familiar?

  • Tracking check-in patterns and peak hours usually requires separate hardware or manual counting
  • Member loyalty is hard to measure with paper- or spreadsheet-based streak systems
  • It's hard to know which members are actually coming back regularly without asking them directly

Why it’s hard

For a gym business, the real challenge is wanting check-in and peak-hour data without installing expensive hardware or accessing members’ private data.

How Cookrange approaches it

As described on the gym ecosystem page, members check in by scanning a QR code with their phone camera — no turnstile hardware required. Your gym sees its own check-in count, the last 60 days’ peak-hour pattern, and your member list and check-in records at display-name level, exportable as a CSV. You never get access to a member’s nutrition, weight or measurement data.

Squads give members their own accountability circle — each keeps an individual streak, shown side by side with squad-mates. Behavior-change research finds this kind of mechanism tends to outperform solo effort (Wing & Jeffery, 1999). We’re not claiming a specific effect on visit frequency at your gym yet — that’s something we’d look forward to measuring with your own member data during a pilot.
