Explicit Consent Statement

The text below is what appears next to a separate, unchecked checkbox in the app's own sign-up/consent flow; it is presented here on its own so you can read it in full before you are asked to act on it. This Explicit Consent Statement is the text of the separate explicit consent Cookrange asks for before it may send you marketing communication by email, SMS and/or push notification, and before it may process certain other personal data described below - prepared in line with Article 5 of Turkish Law No. 6698 on the Protection of Personal Data ("KVKK") and the Personal Data Protection Board's own rulings that consent must be "freely given, specific to a particular matter, informed, and explicit". Assuming you have read the KVKK Noticeand the Privacy Policy, you are entirely free to grant or withhold the consent below. If you decline, you may be unable to use the related feature, but you can keep using the Service's core functions. You can withdraw your consent at any time.

  • Health and fitness data: processing your height, weight, gender, date of birth, allergies, dietary restrictions, and nutrition/exercise logs to deliver personalised meal plans, recipes, analytics and AI insights.
  • Location data: processing your location for "gyms near me" and GPS check-in, to sort gyms and verify your presence (this location is not stored on our servers).
  • Gym presence detection (separate consent): unlike the items above, your consent for this processing is given not by starting to use a feature, but only by tapping "Allow" on its own dedicated screen - processing your location for automatic background entry/exit detection at the boundary of a gym you are a member of (your coordinates are never sent to or stored on our servers; only the gym's name and your entry/exit time are stored).   • AI processing: sending your prompts and relevant profile context to our AI provider (OpenRouter) to generate results.
  • International transfer: processing your data on the overseas servers of providers such as Google and OpenRouter, as needed to deliver the Service.
  • Notifications and, where applicable, marketing: sending you the notifications you have approved.

2. Scope and Withdrawal

  • The processing above is carried out only for the stated purposes and only to the extent necessary.
  • You may withdraw consent at any time through in-app settings (notification/privacy/permission management), by revoking OS-level permissions, or by emailing contact@cookrangeapp.com.
  • Withdrawal does not affect the lawfulness of processing already carried out before you withdrew.
  • The date of your consent and the version of this text you approved are recorded, for accountability.

By starting to use the features above, you are deemed to have given explicit consent to the relevant processing.
